At the very northern part of the park, right next to the Parks Maintenance facilities and offices is the shooting range.  This is a very well laid out area and will accommodate the needs of most gun enthusiasts who need somewhere to go for target practice.  The pricing compares very favorably with most other ranges in the area.  There is a section for shotguns and pistols and another section for rifles.  The range is open from 9am to 5pm on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday each week.  There is a certified Range Officer on duty at all times.

Regulations

1. Sign in with range master before shooting

2. No fully automatic weapons

3. Approved targets only

4. Shoot straight ahead only, not across range

5. No alcoholic beverages

6. No profanity

7. All firearms in a breach open position and shooters behind safety line during target replacement period

8. Shooting will commence on range master approval only
