There are many types of birds to see in and around the park.  Some are with us all the year some are just here for a season.  Probably the most prominent are the buzzards you will see mainly at the south entrance to the park, but there are many more both around the lakes and along the trails.  Click on any of the thumbnails below for a larger picture.
Saddle Creek Park is one of the main stops on the Great Florida Birding Trail.  From August to October the Lake Region Audubon Society conducts free bird-watching tours every Saturday morning from 8am 'til noon. Birdwatchers from all over the world visit the park to observe the fall migration
